My name is Chloe, nice to meet you!
I am an illustrator, graphic designer and pyrographer based in sunny California. 
 

Encouraged by my parents, I was drawing through out my entire childhood. I took a detour away from my art in high school, but returned to it in college, got my AA in fine art, had my son, and transferred to art school. While attending art school, single motherhood helped form my identity as an artist and I participated in art shows that fundraised for fellow single moms. I graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in 2017 and interned on the long-running TV animation, The Simpsons in 2018. In June 2020, during the height of the pandemic, I married my best friend...Mandalorian-style with a Star Wars themed wedding. In 2021, I finally opened my online shop as Chloe Joy Studio. Occasionally, I help with set building on the Youtube channel, Team Edge, that holds an impressive 7.27 million subscribers. On most days, I do graphic design and custom pyrography on top of managing my shop, but aspire to eventually illustrate children's books and publish my own.

I enjoy creating art about motherhood, children, the outdoors, spirituality, liberty, and empowerment. 

Between creating and homeschooling, I can be found practicing yoga, hiking, camping at the lake, or hanging out with my favorite guys - my son and husband - discussing or maybe ranting a little too much about Star Wars.
